Inf-dis/Website is
designed to throw the light on the most important infectious
diseases in Egypt and our region in both Arabic and English
languages in a format useful to those first exploring the
disease or those desiring a review. This interactive
instructional resource can be of benefit to veterinary
students as distance learning, and field veterinarians in
Egypt and other Arab countries as continuing education. In
addition, the Arabic version is an attempt to remove the
misunderstanding between animal herders and owners.

This site was
created in May 2005, as one of the activities of the project
entitled "Enhancing Veterinary Infectious Diseases Education
and Training in Egypt" that funded from Higher Education
Enhancement Project Fund (HEEPF) - Ministry of Higher
Education - Arab Republic of Egypt. The project funded to
Dr. Ahmed Abdou Ali El Sawalhy, Professor of Infectious
Diseases, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Mansoura
University, Egypt.
